The foundation, Emily’s Perfect Day, was formed as a 501 (c) 3. The Foundation is named after our daughter Emily and her idea of the perfect day. A vibrant, passionate young lady, Emily Lauren Rose was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia during the summer between her junior and senior years of high school. Our journey, our wish to keep Emily’s spirit alive and our desire to help families in similar situations is what led to the development of this Foundation. We are a tax-exempt organization for the purpose of supporting our mission to help families going through critical medical events. What We Can Offer.
While The Beach House rental is our biggest support vehicle, we also offer other help and support to families.
Emily’s Perfect Day was founded as an association designed to support and provide comfort to families as they navigate medical needs. The association combines our community of friends, family, neighbors and businesses to aid families going through medical crises. Our hope is to make the day, week or month just a little bit better. If we can alleviate even a small portion of the stress a family experiences, and convey a sense of hope and love, we’ve helped Emily’s spirit live on.
